what i learned last night
after making about 4 bowls worth of tom kha soup, and eating it all, coconut milk is one of natures great LAXATIVES! the soup was awesome, and i was hungry. what can i say? next time i’ll stop at one bowl.

first day
today was my first day volunteering in the ICU. no one died, so i consider it a success. it was very educational. the nurses there do a great job and really care about the patients. i’m looking forward to going back. oh and i got to talk to a patient pooping.
