“Economics for Dummies”

Yep. Bought that book yesterday to brush up on my basics.

Also bought Freakonomics.

If anyone has any recommendations on books to read or sites to follow to help me brush up on my economics/financing/market and consumer trends and the like, I’d greatly appreciate them all.

Is this for job skills, or to catchup on what’s going on with our economy?

  2. watchingithappen said: brush up on excel skills. all the investment banking kids I work with at UT go through excel financial modeling classes. not sure if that’s relevant. Also start reading the Houston Business journal - will help with context of the biz environment
